2016 Fiat Toro Specs and Expected Price

Manufactured by the Brazilian subsidiary of the Italian Automaker, Fiat Toro is a four-door pickup truck that was unveiled in 2015. The mid-size pickup truck is thus a pretty new vehicle, and will go with the name, 2016 Fiat Toro. The new truck will come with innovative exterior, interior and power train features that will make it grab a notable share of the pickup truck market.

The new Fiat pickup truck will be based on a modular platform present in the Jeep Renegade. It will also get some features from the FCC4 concept. The automaker will use aluminum and other lightweight materials in an effort to keep the weight of the car low. The entire exterior will look rugged thanks to pronounced features and muscular body. A stronger, hexagonal grille will be presented in the front side of 2016 Fiat Toro. There will also be slim headlights, a redesigned bumper and the company logo on this side. Rear side will feature LED taillights and a stylish bumper. Under the hood, Fiat Toro will have two engine options. The base engine will be a 1.6-liter E-Torque I4 capable of generating 138 hp and large amounts of torque. The other engine will be a 2.0-liter Multijet Turbo-diesel I4 with a capacity of 170 horsepower and 280 lb-ft. The 1.8-liter engine will be mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission while the 2.0-liter one to a 6-speed manual transmission. The car will use front-wheel drive, with the four-wheel drive being optional. Fuel economy and emission rate figures are expected to be better with the new Fiat vehicle. Fuel consumption will be around 21 mpg in city and 26 mpg on highway.

The 2016 Fiat Toro will have a starting price of around $21,000. In case of any refurbished models, car shoppers should expect higher prices from them. The Fiat Toro for 2016 is expected to hit showrooms by the end of the first half of 2016. It is designed for the Latin American markets, but may later be available in other markets outside this region.
