Well faithful Ford buyers, you might say not much has changed with the new, 2017 Ford F-350, but the fierce power-train should be “torqued” up with the all new aluminum bodies they will sport, and there are some other changes that should please even the fussiest Ford truck buyer.
2017 Ford F-350 – Fresh New Look Promised
You’ll love the massive front grill on the new ford f 350, as it looks like it’s going to eat the competition for lunch. The lengthy running board is sweet for looks and utility, as is the deep air curtain to help with aerodynamic performance and gritty good looks. Top those off with the massive 8 spoke wheels, and the ford f-350 should be a macho combo that’s sure to please. Most innovative besides the aluminum body, however, is the recently added LED strobe headlamp technology that should be one of the best features you’ll see. The 2017 models feature new QuadBeam lamps that could help change the way road safety is measured.
The inside of the mobile man-cave of the ford pickup 350 has a chunky dashboard with chamfered features to keep your hands from scraping the instrument panel as you glide powerfully across those long fast highways with your big load in tow and your hot steaming coffee in the console; the leather-wrapped steering wheel keeps your hands comfortably gripped with a great soft feel, and the whole interior of the 2017 Ford F-350 has an overall feel of precision, gusto and confidence, as with any Ford truck. Also be sure to look to the King Ranch and Platinum add-on’s as they are released…based on past years, they offer a ton of great features at reasonable prices. Recent add-ons included SYNC with MyFord Touch, Heated/Cooled seats, Copper Milano Maple woodgrain, and more. Finally, the 2017 Ford F-350 has 7 cameras to equip you with a 360 view of your surroundings.
2017 Ford F-350 – Powerful Engine and Performance
For the engine of the new 2017 Ford F-350, we cannot be certain as of this writing, but we do anticipate Ford will again return to using the outstanding 6.7 Liter Power Stroke Diesel V8, as it was retooled recently, and boasts an impressive 440 horsepower with a gutsy 860 lbs/ft of torque, as a strong foundation to run this powerful beast. Also of note is the new TorqShiftG 6-speed transmission, CNG, and propane options; and of course you can run these bad boys on diesel as well. Depending on how you equip the ford f-350 pickup, it can haul up to 26,500 lbs (2016 model), and the recent Ford F-350 2017 does 0-60 in 7.8 seconds; and that is pretty darn fast, my friends. Cornering is a little less formidable as the recent Ford F-350 has a bit of understeer and the braking distance is considerable, but this truck is still a great performer, and again, with the addition of the aluminum body, some of these numbers should improve.
2017 Ford F-350 – Expected Date of Arrival and Price
The 2017 Ford F-350 should be priced in the $40,000-$70,000 range, depending on some sweet King Ranch and Platinum add-ons, and is expected to be released in late 2016. I personally think it is going to be a champ.
