2018 Nissan Titan Concept Review, Price

Titan is Nissan’s weapon to go into the pickup battle and has lately shown an increased number of sales. To declare that the automaker is not that far behind, Nissan recently unveiled its 2018 Nissan Titan Concept.

One may argue that it’s yet another Ford F-150, Raptor this time. No denying that as Nissan’s new concept vehicle has a similar nose and face structure. But even if the skeleton remains same, the automaker has gone a long way to redesign its 2018 version.

  • Grey overall base color.
  • Orange and white accents here and there.
  • Chrome accents on its face.
  • Contrasting black rear gate shade.

2018 Nissan Titan Concept – Exterior Expectations and Luxurious Interior Design

Nissan might have hit the mark in the looks department. Most noteworthy are its front and rear lights. The 2018 Nissan Titan Concept boasts interlocking inverted C-shaped headlights. No fog lights in this concept. The three-bar mesh grille marks its huge nostril. Nissan badge sits right at the center.

No body lines on its sides. It’s completely smooth till the point from where the rear wheels arch start. The tail end sports a white bumper with 4 exhaust tips embedded at either end. Even the taillights have a unique inverted C-design with a bit of vertical extension. Nissan has not failed to maintain an overall muscular look.

The Nissan Titan Concept 2018 came with 18-inch diameter tires with a massive 9.5-inch width. This is again following Raptor’s lines, but Nissan has remembered to redesign its spokes. Front suspensions have tie-rod extensions, control arms and a more rigid ball joints. Nissan also specifically mentioned about the availability of its huge 37-inch off-road tires to go with its Titan Concept.

Interior:

Nissan promised high-strength fabric with carbon fiber, chrome accents and premium leather in the cabin of its concept. Orange accents and stitches were visible on the seats and dash of 2018 Nissan Titan Concept. Instrument cluster was still old-school with gauges placed right behind the steering wheel. Infotainment contains 7-inch display with buttons all over for control.

Also, Titan’s dashboard boasted three auxiliary gauges right at its center. Combined with aluminium steering spokes and toggle switches, Nissan has maintained a sporty look in the concept’s cabin, not classy. Looking around, one may quickly conclude that the automaker might just have come up with one of the best-looking pickups in the business.

The 2018 Nissan Titan Concept will have the 360-degree all-round view, with trailer monitoring system. A rear view camera can be seen protruding out from its tailgate. Standard safety features will include electronic stability control, traction control, electronic braking, cruise control, blind spot monitoring and ditch support. To be honest, no matter what Nissan throws in, technology doesn’t determine a truck’s sales now. Looks and muscles are what matters and Nissan has got it right this time.
